July 24 5K & Fun Run - Volunteers Needed

This is an important message from Sister Kelli Herlevi of the Mapleton 18th Ward:

"I need help with the 24th 5k and fun run.  I need helpers to pass out race packets on the 23rd at the City Building from 3 to 7.  They don't need to stay for the full 4 hours.  I just need to make sure they don't all come at 6:30.  Maybe 2-3 each hour.
Also, we need as many volunteers as possible for the morning of the 24th for the actual run.  The different opportunities would include:  Helping to set up the start/finish line.  Directing runners to the start line.  Registering the late runners.  Help set up the fruit/bread/water tables and pass those out as the runners finish.  Clean up after the race.  We need volunteers at 6 am on the 24th.  As many volunteers as possible.  It sounds like they have had a lot of fun in the past.  It's early in the morning, but it's a lot of fun and doesn't really take too long.  Everyone will have plenty of time to participate in all of the other holiday activities--or go home and go back to sleep!!"

Please email sarahaverett@gmail.com if you can help.  Thanks!
